TSXV Holds Town Halls in Four Cities, More Events to Come

TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) last week concluded a series of interactive town hall meetings in four major Canadian cities to discuss the strategies proposed in the recently published white paper titled Revitalizing TSX Venture Exchange: Canada's Public Venture Market.

The turnout at each of the events was strong and the feedback has been constructive. More than 850 people attended the meetings where lively, open discussions yielded valuable insights and perspectives – both positive and negative – from clients and stakeholders on the Exchange's tactics aimed at better supporting early-stage public companies and invigorating Canada's public venture marketplace.

TSXV will continue to listen to the Canadian capital markets community to identify and analyze the key issues from all sides. Due to the success of the town halls meetings in Montréal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, TSXV is planning to crisscross the country to continue to connect and engage with clients in smaller, regional markets across Canada. The goal is to visit multiple cities across Canada in the coming weeks and months – from the West Coast and the Prairies, to Central Canada and the Maritime provinces.
