Pediment Gold Corp. To Trade On Toronto Stock Exchange

Pediment Gold Corp.

(the “Company”) – An application has been granted for the original listing in the Mining category of 51,876,161 common shares of the Company, of which 43,944,587 common shares are issued and outstanding, and 7,931,574 common shares are reserved for issuance.

The common shares of the Company will be listed and posted for trading at the opening on Monday, March 2, 2009.

The Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the TSX Company Manual.

Incorporation:     The Company was incorporated under the Company Act (British Columbia) on December 23, 1983 under the name "Magna Ventures Ltd.". On August 9, 1990 the name of the Company was changed to "Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd." On January 10, 2002, the Company's name was changed to "Skinny Technologies Inc." and on September 10, 2005 it was changed to "Pediment Exploration Ltd." On February 25, 2009, the Company's name was changed to its current form.

Nature of Business:     The Company is a mineral exploration company with its principal assets being located in Mexico. The Company holds an indirect 100% interest in the San Antonio Gold Project located in Baja California Sur, Mexico and also has interests in eight other gold/silver/copper projects.

Dividends:     The Company has not paid any dividends or made any distributions in the last five years. The Company does not anticipate paying dividends in the foreseeable future.
