Tri Origin Minerals Ltd. To Trade On Toronto Stock Exchange
Tri Origin Minerals Ltd. (the "Company") - An application has been granted for the original listing in the Mining category of 113,672,234 ordinary shares of the Company, of which 101,918,234 ordinary shares are issued and outstanding, and 11,754,000 ordinary shares are reserved for issuance.
The ordinary shares of the Company will be listed and posted for trading at the opening on Friday, January 22, 2010.
The Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the Toronto Stock Exchange Company Manual.

Incorporation: Tri Origin Australia NL ("Tri Origin") ABN 062 002 475 was incorporated as a public, no liability company on October 21, 1993. On December 11, 2003, Tri Origin changed its name to Tri Origin Minerals Ltd. The Company is registered under the Commonwealth of Australia's Corporations Act 2001 (Cth.).

Nature of Business: The Company explores for base and precious metals in Australia. It has 100% mineral rights to the Woodlawn Mining District, site of the former zinc-copper producing Woodlawn Mine. The Company also has 100% ownership interest in the Lewis Pond exploration project and other tenements in New South Wales.

Dividends: The Company has not, since the date of its incorporation, declared or paid any dividends on its shares, and does not currently have a policy with respect to the payment of dividends. For the foreseeable future, the Company anticipates that it will retain future earnings and other cash resources for the operation and development of its business. The payment of dividends in the future will depend on earnings, if any, and the financial condition of the Company and such other factors as the directors of the Company consider appropriate.
