Avion Gold Corporation To Trade On Toronto Stock Exchange

Avion Gold Corporation - An application has been granted for the original listing in the Mining category of 435,656,944 common shares (the "Shares") of Avion Gold Corporation (the "Company"), of which 381,961,022 Shares are issued and outstanding and 53,695,922 Shares are reserved for issuance.

The Shares will be listed and posted for trading at the opening of business on Friday, December 24, 2010.

The Company will be subject to the reporting requirements of Section 501 of the TSX Company Manual.
